After a windy few days I came across an as yet unexplored footpath at the other end of the village and discovered some wonderful trees among other things. This one looked as though it had a tough time over winter but it's still hanging in there.

The first fall of snow this morning although it didn't settle on the fields as much as it did the roads around here. Managed to paint this from across the pond when I turned up a bit earlier than usual at the village hall. By lunchtime most of the snow had gone.
