Red Tulips
Red Tulips on the allotment.
I pass the allotments, or rather one of the allotments in the village most days when I walk to the shops. Not much happening above ground at the moment. I am trying out a different Moleskine sketchbook which has a shinier ivory coloured paper, although it doesn't look like it here. I'd read that it was pointless trying to use watercolour with it, but maybe if it's applied slightly drier than usual it might be all right. Anyway I'll give it a try out. Shame about the barrow, but as I went straight in with ink there wasn't much I could do...
It's a holiday weekend this weekend, so although I may well be sketching I may not be blogging for a while.
